At the High School:
My name is Mrs. Cover-Brickey. I am the Library Media Specialist over both the High School and the Middle School. I have been teaching for over 20 years with experience in every grade level from pre-k to college. I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Drawing (I double majored in art and education with a minor in English literature) from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Masters Degree in Painting from the same university. I have been teaching in the public school system since 2000. I have two teaching certifications - Art K-12 and as a Library Media Specialist. As an advocate of education, it is a personal goal of mine to never stop learning and to encourage others to do the same. Both of my certifications are cross-curricular which appeals to me because of my belief that one content can reinforce another and reach all learning styles.
Outside of the classroom/library, I am an artist and spend my summer months taking private art commissions. I have artwork overseas and throughout the United States. My father is a custom knife maker, so I grew up traveling the U. S., going to knife shows. Every member of my immediate family is involved in this business - I come from a family of artists, readers, creators and craftsmen.
When I do get free time, which is rare, I like to be outdoors and spend time with my family.

At the Middle School:
My name is Mrs. Simily, and I am the Middle School Library Aide. I have been in this position since August 2019, and I love it! My priority for this job is to make the library as useful as possible and to make it a place the students enjoy visiting.
